Hi there all Mania Members,
I was on the Support Forum for our phpbb board the other day and found
out that we can go ad free on our boards
(ads at the top of index pg and in our postings).

And of course, it does cost for us to do this.

This Poll is to find out if you all are interested in us having an ad free board.
The cost would be:
For 6 months......23.95 + 3.57 tax
For 1 year..........39.95 + 5.95 tax

Keep The Ads?

Get Rid Of The Ads?

If You choose "Ads Free",
Then we can come up with a way to fund the cost for it, 6 months, or for 1 year.
We could think about maybe doing an auction to raise the money that it would cost.
An Auction would be fun!

I know that these ads can be a pain when they fall under your posts.

When I saw this at the Support Forum, I wanted to tell you that you can be
an "Ad Free" board.

I thought you all would like have the say and make the decision on this one.

Agreed,
I know some of our members don't mind seeing them,
but I also know that some of our members do not like them at all,
and have ask me if there was a way we could get rid these
Ads in their posts.
Soooo, I just wanted to let the members know that they can get rid of them, and have a board that's Ads Free.

I want to let all members have the final say

And that we could get together and do an auction to raise the money for it.

An auction would be fun to!

I don't even pay attention to the ads. They don't bother me at all.
I would rather have us spend the money on prizes and such like we've been doing.

The ads don't bother me, and honestly, I would worry about you getting stuck with the bill if enough money weren't raised (probably not an issue the first year as it doesn't seem that expensive) in coming years.

I vote leave them. Sometimes they are funny.

So far......."Keep The Ads" is out in the front and running strong!!!!

An auction at TheMania, that would still be lots of fun though.
We could do that for our contest, I never thought about that Jodi.

Keep the ads, I basically don't even notice them anymore. I ust stroll past them.
