Pretty blouse, looks like that would be very cool

For a pic (or Image)...
just paste a copy of the properties of your pic, then put
[img] in front of properties
and
[/img] at the end of properties...and then you got it!

Here you go, I will post your pic for you

That's really pretty.  I have a couple that are too short, but I think they're WAY too short.   Anyway great job.

Thank you, everyone.  I just used crochet kitchen cotton.  I have a blue tank just like it I might do the same thing on.  I have a hard time finding tank tops that don't show my bra straps so I really hate to part with them.

I agree the tanks you can get nowadays have more like lingerie straps. I'd like to see your next one!  I think your idea is really clever.

I, too, like your idea.  And I agree about the outer garments needing to cover the under ones.

Thank you.  It will be interesting to see how well it washes.  I find that the cotton tends to fade but it should be okay since its white.  The blue one though....I'm not sure.  I'm not about to go with thread though...it would take too long to invest in a shirt I'm going to sweat in!  It has been soooo hot the past two days here!  Our heat index was 103 yesterday!!!  I was sweating just walking to my car!

Oops...i quoted the wrong message...that was meant to TxCrochetLover...

I was going to say to this post that many people today don't mind showing their undergarments - Although I saw that one of the pictures we took at my daughters recital my bra strap was hanging out down my arm!  I was looking at the pictures and saying why didn't someone tell me!  - LOL

I don't know why people don't say anymore when someone's
"slip is showing".

I use safety pins to keep those straps in place.  Nice garments used to come with very thin cords with snap closures, for keeping undergarment straps in place.

I wash some things by hand and roll them in a towel, sometimes using a second towel later, then, lay them on a rack to dry.

They hold up better that way.

I usually wear short sleeves rather than sleeveless now.  I think it looks nicer as one gets a bit older, and it makes the undergarment challenge easier.
