Along A Garden Path
Has anyone made this pattern from Annie's Chainlink Afghans & Pillows?
It's not clear on the directions. Made in strips, but does not say how to join them. So I'm just stumbling along in the dark and following....but I am continuing along and making it an "all in one" piece. Any suggestions?
Thanks, Laura

| Alrighty....I see how to join it but it's stupid. You have this solid piece and then another, well you make chains between the 2 and they look like mesh. There has to be a better way. Hmmmm....back to the drawing board lol |

I don't have the pattern but will go take a look at Annies to see if they have a picture. You know patterns are not written in stone so you can join them any way you wish.

That's a very interesting looking afghan. I haven't ever seen it before.
I feel for ya though, sometimes the pattern instructions are weird. Some
times I go ahead with the way it calls for, but if I don't like the result, I change
it to something I like. Good luck, and of course, we will want to see the
finished project! LOL! |

It looks like you make the strips and then you are chaining, sc in one side of the strip, chaining, sc in next side of other strip. Sort of like a mesh netting. Oh now would that be the ROUND baby ripple ? I love those for some reason I am so addicted to them .
