| Ok I am in. I have to finish my potholder and then find a pattern. Do you know if you can make 2 socks at a time using the magic loop method? |

I might not be able to post here for a while, but I am in; too. I'm just knitting a plain sock for one of our boys. Using Wool-Ease in grey.

| Miss Kitty the pattern is wonderful. Good luck. How long have you been knitting? I may join you another time. I just don't have the experience yet. |

Man oh man, did you read my mind? I need to find a pattern that is easy enough for me to do. I have crocheted socks, but feel a little intimidated by the socks. I looked at the 2 at a time socks book and am not sure. Once I decide I am going to need to order some needles from Knitpicks cause I want to do the magic loop two at a time method.
Edited: I forgot I posted about the sock book from the library. |

Don't let socks scare you they are easy to tame..
I looked at my pattern and seen all the charts, what did I get myself into!!!
Take it slow and tame this creature.. |

I found this nice stretchy cast-on for socks here on Youtube.
I think I'll try this one out. Since I'll be doing top down this time.. |

Tried a little square with the Estonian Cast On and did some cables. Well I don't like the yarn I picked for my socks. The TOFUtsies in red.
Going to have to go though my stash again.. Thinking maybe the Knitters Brewing Co. Plum Wine..
Have to have hubbie cake it for me...
But I did like the cast-on!! |

Dumb question probably. What does "cake it" mean? |

Just turning it from a skein to a cake.. "cake it"
The lady from down the street came over and seen the toys for my yarn and wanted to do it. Hubbie doesn't have to do it now.. |

The cast on was interesting. The explanation for cake it was interesting. I loved the color of yarn.
