Has everyone stopped knitting for the summer? What do you have on your needles? Tonight I started a super easy Wispy scarf for a friend that found some bright accent thread on sale. Of course I still am working on the sage green throw, I do these while I watch TV or whatever.
What is your favorite thing to knit? What are your favorite yarns, colors?
Tell us about it..... we need to get some discussions, conversations going. We really want to hear from all of you. Come on in the knitting & talking is fine !

All my WIP(s) are in my signature.
I've got another project in the wings as soon as I finish my Thorn & Thistle Tank. It's from Wendy @ http://knitandtonic.typepad.com/. It's called "Sizzle". I've got to figure out what yarn I'm going to use. It's probably going to be B'day present to myself next month :). I'd like to use the yarn the pattern calls for, however, I'm not a S or M, and the amount needed for an XL - Yikes! So, hopefully I can find a comparable yarn for a more reasonable price.
I've got a Rogue I started this past winter on needles, but I haven't picked it up since it got warmer here. I'm using Cascade 220 in Ruby Red for that.
I love all yarn - I'm not picky. I tend to pick bold colors to work with, not too much of a pastel person (unless it's a baby item). Red & Black are my favorite colors. I really like the expensive yarns that I can never seem to afford. I do find myself knitting more than crochet these days. I really love crochet, but knitting's still fairly new, as I've only been knitting since last May. So it's more challenging and holds my attention longer. |

I'm going to bump this thread. I am hoping still, to knit those Bernat cammy pants. They'd be great for the fall and winter. And, I want to do them in bright, bright colors. Rebel that I am. |

Thanks for the bump . . . It reminded me of everything that's been neglected . . .
Thorn & Thistle - coming out too small . . . still waiting to be frogged & restarted.
Sizzle - Completed, but a little on the big side
Rogue - Still waiting in the wings. It's such a daunting pattern & I live in FL, so there's not a big hurry for a nice, heavy sweater. . .
2 skeins of Sea Silk that still doesn't have a pattern calling for it yet. (I've got a Gathering of Lace from Amazon on order . . . hopefullly there's a pattern in there that will jump up for this).
