lots of great ideas there... several I have done in the past. I am not very talented or artsy just my knitting but people seem to appreciate the things you spend time doing just for them.
Thank you Serena good time to get this site.... wow end of Sept already. I am hoping to get my camouflage pants done for winter but have to have other things to work on so I don't get bored with just one.

LadyH, I agree that the people we give presents to might just like to have our company.

I appreciate it when someone repairs something for me, or finds something on the internet I don't know how to do, or shows me how to use some high-tech contraption. I know my parents really appreciate that sort of thing!

Otherwise, my gift-giving this year will be baked things and letters.

I thought there were lots of things on that list that younger people might like to do for family and friends.

I like making gifts which don't require lots of running around and doing.

The crochet things this year will need to be with the yarn and thread I have on hand.

It does seem as though the end of September jumps to the holiday season.

Serena Thank you for sharing. I found it interesting. Last year I made all but 2 gifts. I found it fullfilling and economical. So this year the I have started my projects. I have made a 25 inch doily and 5 pairs of earrings.
