I have a wedding gift I have to get done by next month, so I will be really pushing to get this done in time. I think it is going to be really pretty.
http://www.angelfire.com/folk/celtwich/Peacockbuffet.html
I first decided to do it in size 10 thread. I only had enough of one brand of "antique" thread to do it with. It looked horrible! I did three rows and said, nope not gonna work.
So, off the HL I went and lucky for me they had three balls of size 20 Cebelia. So, I started over. Then, when I was on row 3, I found a mistake on--- guess? Yep, row one!!! Grr...!!!!!!!!
And I thought I had counted better than that! Anyhoo, the 20 looks so nice. Now, if I can just get in finished in time.
So, for now, no other crochet work is to be done until I finish this gift!
Here is a pic of the finished piece!

| That is such a pretty pattern! I love working with thread but my hand cramps up so bad. I can't imagine working with size 20! I did that once for a bracelet in an accessory swap I was in and it took all that I had to work with that. |

I am on row 10! Yippee!!!! I worked pretty hard on it yesterday. Now, I just have 70 something rows to go!
I am using a 10 hook, cause I don't have a twelve. |
