Red Hat Hook Caddy?

I got a surprise "thank you" in the mail today from someone on a yahoo group I belong to.  It is a cute little red hat. It unrolls. I was thinking, 'hmmm....   what in the world?'  Then 'Ooooh! Maybe it's like a crochet hook caddy!'

Has anyone seen a pattern for this? I haven't been able to find it on CPC or anywhere.  Maybe it's in a book or magazine?  It's so cute- I'd like to make one, too.  TIA if anyone can help.

Tina

Yes, I have this and it came from the internet.  I'll see what if I can find it again for you.  It's really simple and so cute to make.

Try these.  The one I made was a pincushion pattern.

I hope that one of these works for you.

You're so very welcome!  I bought one at a bazaar and just had to make some up too.  I'm sure that one of those is it.

I can't wait to see yours!

I made one already! It looks just like it. I think next time I will do it so it is red on the top, though....   Here is a picture...

  Thanks so much, again; Jodi!

Great job, Tina!  They are so quick and easy.
I made one in purple and red and it looked really good too.

I'm glad I could help you out!

I made another one last night and took a picture of them both. (Better lighting, day time...)

Thanks again, Jodi.    I am sending the more red one to my friend in Colorado who also crochets.

Isn't red and purple the Red Hat Society colors?    That's what I first thought of when I got the hat... 'I'm not even in the Red Hat Society, and I get a red hat....'  :P
