This is so exciting, I just know y'all are so excited!! Sign ups are now open! 
Here is how it works.........
Sign ups will last until Oct 28th. You will have your partners information by October 31st to start the Swap November 1st.
Please remember I have to have all the swappers before I can assign you a partner. I will be trying to put you together with what you like to celebrate in the winter as well as other factors so this will take some time, please be patient.
The swap will last all of November and shipping should be finished by December 15th (earlier if you are shipping overseas)
There is a $25.00 minimum on this, and only you will know who your partner is. You may be receiving from the person you are sending to but then again, it may be someone different. This is also a winter swap for those that do not follow a particular "Holiday".
You only need to send one package during this swap but if you choose you may send more than one. Please be sure to notify me via PM ONLY when you mail out a package so that I can keep track of how the swap is progressing.
If you are sending only one package then at least one item must be crocheted/knit or crochet/knit related, if you are sending more than one package, then the last package must have at least one crocheted/knit or crochet/knit related item, even if you have sent other crochet/kni or crochet/knit related items in previous packages
If, due to circumstances beyond your control, you simply can't fulfill your swap responsibilities in a timely fashion, please contact me as soon as possible so I can work to find a Holiday Elf  to fulfill them..... we don't want anyone to be left out in this swap.
Contacting your swap partner, at least once a week, via mail, email or ecard is important and required, that way you will be getting to know your partner and what your partner would like for the Holidays as well as spoiling them the entire time with friendship.
I do realize that this being such a 'cozy' board that it might be difficult to keep who you are a secret. If the secret does get out it's not that big a deal, but I just think the secretive part of it makes it even more fun. If you would like to tell your partner who you are, you are welcome to do that. 
For gifting ideas you can easily look up someone's wishlist. That is why making a wishlist of your own is so helpful.
If you have something at home that is new but you have not used, that is fine to send, most people do not mind that, I know I sure don't. Sometimes you might have just what your partner is looking for and you are not going to use it, just please be sure it is in new condition. 
Posting thank you's is a MUST. We will have a special thread for that when the time comes.
I hope we get a lot of people to sign up for this. It will be so much fun. The more the merrier!! 
One more thing....if we get more than one person who lives outside of the US to join, I will make them partners so their postage won't be so much. I know Yasmin lives in Australia and if I'm not mistaken there are a couple other who live 'overseas' so if we get at least 2 I will 'hook them up'.
