I just finished this dress and would like a few testers for to try it for me.
It would be very beneficial if you have a little girl (or even a little boy you can bribe to put the dress on) for sizing.
I need someone for:
12 month size
size 2
size 3
You will need 2 colors (preferably but not totally necessary). For the 12 month and 2 you will use about 17 ounces of the matching color and 7 ounces of the main color in a baby yarn or Caron Simply Soft will work too.
For the larger size a ww yarn (I used RH) will be good. Same amounts as above.
You'll also need some wider ribbon for the waist (about 1/2") and a 6mm yarn for around the neck. I haven't decided really what size of ribbon I want for the arms yet though so either width would be fine for testing.
If you are willing to test please send me a PM or even write on here, and tell me if you have a child for fitting or not and which size you would like to test for me.
Thanks a lot!!

I'm having fun testing this. I'm on the 3rd row of the skirt right now. It's so frilly and girly :)
I bet you can't guess what colors I'm doing it in...heheheh :) |

I'd love to help you out, but I've got some other things to get done soon. |

oh gosh, Lisa, I'm doing the skirt part but I'm afraid the yarns I'm using just won't work with it.
I don't think worsted weight yarns will work at all. This thing is HEAVY!!!!!!!!! It would work way better with a Simply Soft or sportweight yarn. I used Caron Perfect Match and it is just not doing it :(
Directions seem great! Definitely add that you need stitch markers when making the top part. They saved me!!!
I'm using a G and H size hooks since I crochet tighter. The size seems to be good though.
I've put a lot of hours into this so far but am not going to finish it. I'll take pictures of what I have done.
Just make sure to note that only use sportweight or baby weight yarns for all sizes. Worsted weight yarns just make the ruffles way too large and way too heavy!!!!
I'm sorry. Thank you for letting me test for you though! I like the design. Wish I had started with a smaller yarn in the beginning.
