Hey i just finished my first ever socks on the blue knifty knitter! I made them big enough for my sons size 13 feet. They turn out a little more like sock slippers really as they are a bit thick, but i don't care. I used Yarngears KK sock pattern with heel. It was so easy. 8)

Awesome Jacqui, I keep trying with these looms and get so flustered
with them it isn't even funny. Where did you get your tutorials
to help you with the stich instructions? I can't find any that are
understandable.

Hey Kathy i am in all the yahoo groups that have anything to do with looms and KK's, also a group called Knitting without needles. From there i went onto all the links and files sections and trawlled through then for info and patterns and i did the same with anyones blog i found interesting. I felt a bit like a sleuth but i was determined to find out as much as i can because these kinds of looms and patterns are practically unheard of here in Australia. There is a lot out there if you put in the work to find them. I printed off a lot of stuff (mainly cause i feel more comfortable with paper than the computer) and when i had the inclination(and time) would sit in my loungeroom and "play" till i figured something out. If i had trouble with a stitch (not being a knitter) i would look it up on a knitting site and then see if there was a video for doing it on the loom if i couldnt work it out myself. I feel like i had to have some way to teach myself as i am teaching some of my friends from what i am learning. So they are getting the benefit of all my hard work LOL! and looming is becomming known in a small way here because of my efforts. So keep trying everyone If i can do it you can. Hugs Jacqui in Oz
