University Squirrel

Made for my daughter.. she wanted a one of the squirrels on her college campus. Since a real one wasn't possible, I made her one in her school colors. (yes it needs a tail trim.. will let her do it if she wants)

I LOVE squirrels. In fact I collect little figurines when I find them.
It was serendipity.. a totally excellent accident that I found the pattern. Someone on the Ville was selling some old CrochetWorld Mags..and I bought them, site unseen.
The squirrel was in Nov/Dec 1986 Crochet World. What's really weird is that the girl the squirrel is made for was born in Dec. 1986...
