I have what I call a 'Goodies Box' started

It is where I am putting all of the things (laying in wait :smt069 )
that I want to have on hand for prizes here at
The Mania whenever we have a WINNER of a contest

Hey Kathy,

I just wanted to let you know I sent a donation for the Bingo Goodie
Box today regular mail.

Just as a side note, I got to thinking. When you send the prizes out, I know it has to cost you postage. Would you accept cash as a donation instead of just supplies and such?

Let us know how we can help with some of the expenses for the contest prizes.

Oh, btw, the lotion I donated a while back, needs to be used. That fragrance will go rancid after a time. So, take that out of the Goodie Box and use the lotion, or sniff it and if it is bad, trash it.

I will be on the look out and let you know when it arrives.

And yes Selena, I would greatly appreciate monetary donations
for help with the postage cost

And when we have extra, we can use it maybe sometimes as a money prize, like we did in our Anniversary Bingo where I sent each of the 3 winners $10.00 cash to build their stash.

I always send in the Priorty Boxes That I have and I send through
USPS online.

The priority also has the confirmation delivery for free.

The cheapest is the smaller box weight that I average sending is the $4.60 to $4.95.................sometimes I need to use the larger one
and it runs $8.95

I want to try and get a few more contest going on the board for the members to have a variety to play, but I have hesitated because of the shipping cost.

If anyone would like to help out on this cost here at CrochetMania I would really be greatful.

I will try and figure out just how this PayPal works and see if I can't get
that posted here at the bottom of our forum.

Thanks Selena, I have wanted to post something on this, but really didn't know how I should go about it.

Then we could begin to add more contest on the board

One we could do then would be one I have had in mind is a raffle. Sometimes during the year we could raffle off a really nice goodie

and a couple more ideas are floating around in this old head of mine that would be lots of fun to add to our contest section.

I think Vern has some ideas too that we might get in the contest section soon pertaining to the recipes section.

I will look into the PayPal as to how to put that here at the bottom of our forum to recieve donations.

If anyone would like to help out on the postage,
and help us to be able to add more contest here at CrochetMania,
it would be oh so appreciated.

Keep a look out at the bottom of each page for the link, I will try and see if I can get that posted soon.

And yes, I will probably goof it up on the first try

Well I did it, I figured out how it worked at PayPal,
and I have got the PayPal link button for donations posted now on the bottom of each and every page here in the forum.

Just scroll down to the bottom here and you will see it.

Remember, you can find this on every thread at the bottom of the page, and at the bottom of the index (or home) page as well.

I will make a call tomorrow to PayPal to be sure I entered all of the info
there that they requested. I am sure I did, because they released the
codes for us to post the donations button here on CrochetMania

but just to be sure, I will call.

I will have all donations at your request as to the totals and keep
that updated after mailing cost on a regular basis.

yeah, you still send them to me. I haven't mailed out the Goodies box to Lisa, I figured that with the monetary donations set up in my PayPal account that it was easier to just store them at my home and mail them out from here.
