Like to "hear" or see what you have been up to?

Me:
I was bored with all my Wip's so I made a little sock for my Sock Blocker Keychain.

Modular aafghan is taking longer to do a colored row.

"with a Twist" is growing a little bit..
Hugs and Kisses socks didn't get touched.

I have been wanting to do nylon net scrubbies. Finally found the pattern for one, somewhere.

I have been working on:

~Barbie Doll Furniture (crocheted). Finished a 'blanket chest' and rug, have to do the chair now. Also did a Barbie doll tote/purse which I made up myself. (Posted the pattern on my other/pattern blog:http://tinascrochetpage.blogspot.com/2009/09/barbie-totepurse.html )

~G.I. Joe (or other 12" male doll) sleeping bag (finished that), and a tent. The tent is going to be a lot of work, though. (And I have to make TWO), and another sleeping bag... (sigh)  Then I have to go get a 12" male doll somewhere. (Going to look at the thrift shop here, first...)

~A shawl for someone who is going through a rough time w/ Lupus and other problems. (I started two other shawl patterns before I finally found one that is easy enough to do. Both of the other patterns didn't make any sense. Guess I just know how to pick 'em, huh?...)

~Finishing up a potholder.

Your little sock blocker keychain is cute, Miss Kitty.  I haven't touched the Earl Grey socks since the day after I started them.

I finished a doily. Have made several small doilies as coasters for gifts. am making a pineapple scarf for gift(have one more pineapple motif to make then the edging. A baby blanket to finish(star shaped). have a kit to make a pineapple doily in lavender with a pansy in the center. Need to get spiderman scarf started. X-mas is so close hands must remain busy.

Tina do you have dollar tree or a dollar store near you. the last time at the dollar store they had ken and barbie type dolls. I was going to get a couple to use for deb dolls.

Kathy I finally found a scrubbie pattern with a tutoral that made sense. I will try them soon. Do you use the netting with thread or by it's self.

I just use the nylon netting. I have bought it at a couple of places, but find that Hancock Fabrics has the best for the scrubbie. They are just a bit tougher nylon.

I cut into 1 inch strips and then I hold 3 strips together to make mine.
Sometimes I will cut a few in 2 inch strips and will hold that along with a 1 inch strip and make them that way. Depends on the colors and the amounts that I have left sometimes...til I can re-stock when running out of nylon netting.

Thank You! the pattern I found you can use cotton, or what ever. I will try making one and let daughter-in-law test it. She always turns out to be my guinie pig(deliberately misspelled).

We do have one, that just opened a couple months ago. I was just there last night but I didn't think  to look for those. They don't have much of a toy aisle, like the one in Colorado did (the one in CO had those there, I did buy a couple for gifts there, too...)

Almost done with the Mainstays afghan/throw.  Finished the straps on 2 of the 3 string bags.  Have one coaster to finish.  That is probably all I will get done this week.  One thing at a time.

Still doing the bin sorting, but only have 3 left.

Hopefully, (and I am pushing hard), it will all be done by Saturday.

The next couple of days will be incredibly busy.

--There is a hard frost coming tonight and have to harvest the peppers and tomatoes; tidy up and put an edge on the plant beds; mulch around the roses, salvia and the tree.

--Clean up and clear off patio

--Kitchen/Dining room floors

--Vacuum and dust and general pick up

--Start on the cleaning and conditioning of the leather sofa, loveseat and both recliners.  Oh yippee.

And...odds and ends as I come across them.

Best of all...I am going to water aerobics today.

Miss Kitty, I do need to work on those lap blankets.

But, I made my very first soap today instead!

Your smilies are the cutest!

I don't know about water aerobics, but soaking in a hot tub would sure be nice....
