I thought it might be a good idea if we all reviewed different yarns we have used. That info may help another person trying to decide if they want to to use it or not.
I bought some I Love This Cotton to make dishcloths. It is easy to work with, softer than other kitchen cotton. It has a sheen to it too, which I liked. I knitted a picture dishcloth with it. The only thing was the textured stitches didn't have as much definition IMO.
So, I finally got around to using one I made. It absorbs water pretty well, but then stays wet forever! Sugar n Creame will dry out so you can use the next day, then wash.
In the washing machine, I washed in cold and dried in the dryer. No shrinkage and it didn't fade.
Now over the weekend, I crocheted with it making a chemo cap. It is faster to work with this cotton than the others with a hook. The hat is soft, I think that will work for cancer patients.
All in all, I liked it, will use it again. Has anybody else used it and what did you think?

| Thank You! I was going looking for cotton this week. I will look this over. I have crocheted with alot of thread. Most of it is great. I am saving plastic bags...I want to try crocheting with them. I am working on a scarf with faux suede. I keep putting it down to do other stuff. It is difficult to work with. It could be just me. I made three other scarfs with it. This is the last of the thread and will not buy it again. |

I like I Love this Cotton. I used it on a dishcloth. Mine is dry by morning (after supper dishes that are done at 8pm)((don't ask)). I used a bigger needle then called for. Maybe because it's a looser knit that's why it dries faster..
It's been used and in the wash 6 times now and still looks good.. |
