Grow Mittens
Db pt #3 (or size for yarn) 1 st holder
Cast on 33 sts, 11 per needle.
Work K2, P1 for 2 1/2"
P 2 rounds
1st inc: P in front & back of 1st st, P1, inc next st, P to end
K 3 rounds
2nd inc: P inc in 1st st, P3, inc in next st, P to end
P 2 rounds
K 1 round
3rd inc: K in front & back of 1st st, K5, inc next st, K to end
K 1 round
P 1 round
sl 9 sts to holder cast on 6 sts (slip sts from left needle then co on right needle)
P around (36 sts)
P 1 round
(K3 rnds - P3 rnds) 4x
Decrease for top:
1:(K4-N) 6x (30 sts) K 2 rnds
P 2 rnds (P3-N) 6x (24 sts)
K 2 rnds (K2-N) 6x (18 sts)
P 2 rnds (P1-N) 6x (12 sts)
K 1 rnd cut yarn fasten off
Thumb:
Place 9 sts on 2 needles from st holder.
3rd needle pick up 1 st each side of thumb & 6 sts across
Divide 17 sts on 3 needles
P 1 rnd
P next rnd - dec 1 st ea side of 6 cast on sts
(K3 rnds - P 3 rnds) 2x
(K3-N) 3x (12 sts) K 2 rnds
P 2 rnds (P2- P2tog) 3x (9sts)
K1 rnd fasten off gathering sts tog as on top of mitten.

well if you're a crocheter then you probably need to use the Continental method to knit, I use the English.
Find time you should see my list : I now have it separated into 1- orders (5 orders = 9 items) 2 - requests (2 = 3 items)& 3- want to (5 items = mittens for the church where I gave knit classes) (at the very end is purple w warmers for me & finish the tan sweater I started in June & the purple throw that has been waiting about 2 yrs now.
Any way good luck to us all
Oh these mittens I can do like the w warmers 2 - 3 days a pair.
