I'd like to request prayer for me and everyone else here who must work in order to survive and has to get back into the swing of full 5-day workweeks for the coming months. This is my least favorite time of year and I'm sure the same is true for many. The excitement and festivitity of the holidays is over, the weather in most places (at least in this hemisphere) is aboutt he worst of the year, the days are among the shortest and darkest of the year (even though they are now getting a hair longer each day, it won't be very noticeable for awhile) and in general, it's just hard to get back in the swing of things. Last week wasn't bad since at least it was a short workweek and the bosses weren't all back yet, but in a matter of hours it will be the real deal again and I am not ready, LOL. It's been hard for me to unwind and enjoy today knowing that it will soon be back to the old grind. I also hate Mondays since I have TOPS (Take Off Pounds Sensibly) on Monday nights, so I don't eat during the day to have as decent a weigh-in as possible - and after getting off to a good start last year with my weight loss, I will have a slight gain tomorrow night and this will be discouraging. My prayers go out to all the rest of you who don't like January for these reasons and will appreciate the same. Thanks. Teri

praying you have as easy of a time as possible to get back into the swing of things. its hard to not have the energy you need and i pray that jesus will bless you with strength and energy. i too hate this time of year and since i don't live all thatfar away from you i know what ya mean. i loved \\the sunshine we hd today and now back to clouds;, come to think of it if somecome coid send me some too

I too do not like this time of year very much. The holidays always hype up soooooo high, then BOOM, a big drop in January.

But I look at it this way, I thank God for January and for things to begin to get back to normal.

It is a good time od year because it means that Spring is just around the corner

Thanks, ladies. I actually LOST 3/4 pound tonight from the last weigh-in, which was surprising, though still not something to be proud of since that was over a span of 3 weeks, LOL. I need to do much better - and I will. At least Monday is over for another week. Teri
