Basket Weave ScarfOne Christmas Present down . . .
This was a simple Basket Weave stitch pattern. I just knit until I ran out of yarn.
Unblocked, it measures 7" x 70". It's an Italian cotton with a shiny thread twisted around the cotton. I lost the ball bands, so I'm not sure what brand it was.

I'm not a big fan of working with cotton as it's really hard on my hands.
This wasn't a joy to work up, but it's amazing as a finished piece. It's super soft and squishy.
My aunt picked this out all by herself when she was down here on vacation, and decided she'd like a scarf. She's completely clueless when it comes to knitting & crochet, but she loves ME to make stuff for her.
So, this is part of her Christmas present this year.
