I wonder what technique you have used for beginning a project. I usually chain, but has anyone used another method? I would love to see pictures of your projecst started with another method.

I haven't learned the foundationless chain. But, it's on my list. I'm still practicing grannies.

So, it's the basic chain for me.

I'm interested in knowing what folks prefer, and what they prefer about it, too.

I have always used the chain. Don't know anything else.

Me too. I am a chain girl. I have tried the foundationless chain thing but get confused. LOL

I am a chain girl too. Maybe I need to try the chainless foundation. I'm pretty sure there is a You Tube tutorial!
