Blue Hearts Shadow Box GiftI made this doily from Annie's Attic Easy One Day Doilies.
I mounted it on a a dark blue mat board and framed it
in a 12x12 black shadowbox frame. It is a wedding gift
for a friend's son. I used Cebelia 10 thread in white and
a 7 hook. I know ya'll have seen I have made this pattern
before, I like it and it is easy, so another way to use the
doily! The pic doesn't show the depth on the box, it's about
2 inches deep.

Thanks all! I took it yesterday to a holiday gathering and gave it.
The new bride loved it and I was so relieved to know it was some
thing she would be glad to hang in their house.

I am just always awestruck when it comes to thread pieces,
they are so beautiful. You guys make it look so easy..........
but you can't tell that to these fingers......it just is not something that they can do well..........but wished they could.
