Can HuggieI'm going to be making some items for my boys' high school booster club to sell this year. I just made this up today. They boys were happy with it, so I guess it's a go and I'll make up some more.
They are the Kamiakin Braves and I'd like to figure out an indian head silhouette to sew on them too. I was thinking maybe a cutout instead of a crocheted thing, but I'm not sure yet. I need to play with it a bit.

Thanks!
I think I'll make some with footballs, basketballs, etc. too.
I hope they'll sell good for the school. I've also got some hats, scarves and I plan to make some fingerless gloves too.

Those should go over really well. I like the fingerless glove idea too, cause those are "in" right now. You always have such great ideas!

That is a good idea. I made some 'fruit pop can cozies' a few years ago. I just recently crocheted a few of them. I should post them here. The football one sounds cute. I hope you do well selling them all.

Jodie,
That turned out great!
I just had to tell you that you have inspired me! I made 3 some orange/white Tenessee Vols hats the other day. One I made with the Letter 'T' in it but that took a lot of work w/a lot of lose ends so I'm not going to try that again.
I'm going to make some hats in my dn's school colors. They can wear them for me and take orders! Thanks for the idea!

You're welcome, Gina!
I crocheted the K and sewed it on the huggies. I also made one with an S on it in navy blue and yellow for the boy that is living with us to take to show some friends. So far, no orders, but you never know. The boa type scarves and fingerless gloves sold first. We have our first home game on the 15th, so I've been making up as much stuff for that as I can. The fluffier, the better.
We went to an away football game Friday night and a lot of the girls had the store bought feather boas on and goofy hats. And the boys....... well, we won't go there right now! It was too weird for words!
I'm also thinking some slippers when it gets cooler. They would make great stocking stuffers for Christmas from the parents.
Good luck with the sales!
