Caron's Simple Shrug Shadows 
This is a free pattern available on
the Caron website. I used 5 balls
of Simply Soft Shadows in Pearl
Frost. The label says that it should
require 3 balls but I think it needs
to be adjusted.
The pattern has it made flat and
seamed but I don't like to seam so
I made this one entirely in the round.
It's basically a tube with the center
hole for the collar. Just your
standard shrug pattern.
Anyway, the loose strand is there
because I'm not quite sure that I
like the way the stripes are on the
back and the fit of the sleeves
are much baggier than the pattern
pic so I might frog the whole thing.

Last weekend, I picked up 4 balls of Mardi Gray to make the shrug on the label. Sounds like I might need to go pick up one more.
I've got my knit swap item to make & a baby blanket to finish - then this is next!
Great color. I like how the stripes are. I really like this - I hope mine turns out as well as yours did.
