Chakra PurseI finished sewing the lining in this last night.
I had to rip out the front flap (it was totally pulling to one side and all crooked). I asked questions on Ravelry and someone (whose Chakra Purse is perfect!) :) told me she did the FPDC's a little looser... So that's what I did.
Laying flat:
The lining. (It looks like my 7 year old son sewed it in... sigh... I'm not so good at sewing.)
This is one purse I am definitely going to use, though. I need to dig out all my aqua/teal colored tops now...
Oh, DUH! The pattern: http://www.naturallycaron.com/projects/chakra/chakra_1.html

so when are you starting the matching scarf ? That is beautiful and that is nice when someone does something perfect but there is a lot to be said for the little opps.... make them esp mine. even if I give something to someone - if they don't knit they may never see whatever the opps is so I can let it bother me, not give it to anyone, or give it and accept the love me just as I am.....
I think you did a Great job on the purse and I am not a sewing person either. Enjoy! ! !

That's pretty Tina, I like the color you used and the heart really sets it off.
You did a great job on that and the lining looks so much better than what mine do I can not sew a lick!

Thank you, everyone. I have been trying to go outside of my box and wear brighter colors lately. I seem to have a lot of teal/aqua shirts recently; and I had enough yarn to make this purse with (I actually had to go buy one more skein just to finish it with), so it ended up being this color...
