Do you like swapping?I just found a group on Yahoo.http://groups.yahoo.com/group/crochetswapbuddies/ They try to keep swaps organized all year long. Only 18 members so far, but it could be fun. I know some of you really enjoy your swaps!!! |

I like doing online exchanges and think this group looks like fun. But I usually don't join groups where anyone can read all the group's messages. I think messages for YahooGroups should be readable by members only. There is a section for list owners to go in and change this. Would you consider making the messages on that group readable by members only? If so, I might join! Teri | ||

I like swapping, but I'm like Gina . . . I've had to be honest with the amount of time I have available vs. what I would like to do.
That's why I usually stick to the SAM swaps. Squares are fast and easy, and it's a great way to connect with the other swappers. |

It's odd how you have to apply to join the group but you can read all the messages without joining. I have a small Yahoo group and our messages aren't available to non-members. Thank you for sharing the link for the goup, don't know how I missed it before!

I am co-owner in this group, and Sabrina and I have been working hard to try to get this group moving again............we have a few different swaps in it, and we have also asked for a JIC which is only a skein of yarn.......to help protect in cases of a partner not sending their item..............we are also working on a few other things......... As for the messages, I had a moms group awhile back, and hid the messages so only the members could see............and I have actually started an email to Sabrina the other day about changing this. |

I have never been burned here but I have been on two other forums not crochet related. It really ticked me off too. These people here are the best and Kathy would be so maaaaaaaaaaaaad if someone pulled that.

besides we all know sometimes things happen which is why we have swap angels we all are willing to help another out in time of need at least everyone here that I know and i know alot of ya hehehehe.don;t feel bad about swapping on the mania, if your partner falls thru someone else will pick up the responsibility so please feel free to swap with us
