Eliza Knitted Tank TopWell I finally finished my first knitted piece of clothing! I used Bernat Cottontots in Easter Parade and size 7 needles. It was listed as easy and I had no major problems. However, on one row where I had a lifeline, the stitches ended up looking wonky so I crocheted a trim to hide it! It was also my first time to seam a knitted item. I think it is called mattress stitch? Anyhoo, here is the top! The model is Son#2's girlfriend.
Ahh, youth! LOL!

It's very pretty! You're good with those needles! Most creative with thinking of the crocheted edging, too.

Thanks Serena! I didn't know what else to do about the line across the top. I washed it and still didn't look any different so had to put on my thinking cap!

Thanks everyone! I was determined to knit a top and now I am looking for some lighter weight yarns to knit with to make another top. Browsing patterns etc.

Hi Peggy! I made a beaded knitted bracelet over the last couple of days. I need to get a pic on here. Yep, I really want to knit some tops I will actually wear!
I miss you when you are not on here!
