I am working on another fancy fur afghan, and some fun fur afghans.
Have you seen any of these for sale anywhere?
I really like these. :) I'll have to end up keeping one at some time.

Nice afghan, I haven't seen any like it for sale anywhere else. How will it stand up to washing and drying??
I'm not a fan of any of the Fun Fur type yarns, but you did a great job on it.

Thanks
I have worked with fun fur mainly on flip flops and denim bags, but I have enjoyed it for the most part. The afghan should be washable. I recommend a delicate setting. It should be laid flat to dry, no heat source. I did a test swatch sometime last year and it dried fine and remained furry. ChaCha on the other hand.....I don't remember if it accidentally went through the dryer or not, but when I got it it was matted together.
It really is soft and warm. A nice heavy afghan. I am working on a fun fur one right now that will be lighter. Part of it might be that it is a change of project, and comes together fast, but I am really enjoying making these. :) It's like my dessert time after working with worsted weight yarn. lol. (And if I call a yarn delicious looking, my brother looks at me funny. Anyone else get that?)
Finished a fun fur strip tonight.

Very nice afghan Amber. I love the pink & black colors.
It looks very soft & snuggly.
I've got 50 skeins of Paton's Carmen that I plan to use on a log cabin style afghan.

Very pretty, Amber!!! How did you like working with the fun fur? I have only used it this past Christmas for an accent on a few things............but didn't really like using it... I can't imagine making a whole afghan out of it...........
Really great work!!!
