...my almost finished fat bottom bag!

I'm sewing challenged but I was able to sew in the lining to this bag pretty easily with a sewing machine! I was amazed!

All I have to do now is to find the 'perfect' handles for my bag and finsih it up. Ahem...well...that's not all...I seemed to have misplaced my bag. I know it's around here somewhere....

That is so pretty Gina. I never can get my lining to sew in
neat like that. I have always sewed them in by hand. I am
not sure if
my beat up old sewing machine will sew through something
that thick.
If machine sewing the lining in looks that neat, I will just
have to get my machine out and give it a try.

Oh yeah. look behind you, over in the chair in the corner,
there is where your purse is

To practice on my sewing machine...I just made a dishcloth sized swatch (in the same type yarn I used on my bag) and found some old fabric and sewed the fabric to the dishcloth. It was SEW easy and I now have a new hotpad!

Also...I found my bag!!!!! Actually, it was dh who found it. It was in the Jeep. I guess it got left in there when I took it will me to try and find bamboo handles at WM. Since I can't carry anything when I use my walker, and since dd was in charge of it, it got left in the Jeep!

BTW...my mom has some handles she thinks might work but she forgot to bring them over today. Hopefully she will remember them when she comes over tomorrow. I hope I like them and I hope they work for me. Keep your fingers crossed!
