TXcrochetlover: !00% wool is good, wool and soy is good.. Just make sure that it's more then 80% wool..I think they say 75%.
I use a lot of knitpicks Wool of Andes or Lion Brand Fishermens wool and dye it myself.[ sometimes I get colors] Went to Wally World and seen some Black icing dye, going to try it on the LB wool. Let you know how it turns out!!
Colyak Crocheter: Send some of that Cool weather down this way!!! Please

i would love to have a pair of these, but am allergic to wool :smt088 :smt088 :smt088 :smt088 :smt088 :smt088 :smt088 :smt088 :smt088 , wonder if i made them in a smaller hook with cotton if that would work. they look very comfy, jody i hear ya, last night here in tacoma area, was down to 38 degrees. my kittys were so upset they banged on the door till i went out to the rec room and turned their little heater on :smt081 :smt081 :smt081 :smt081 :smt081 :smt081 :smt081 , then they were happy, there is no heat in that part of the house as we added that on from the patio. so we use a small space heater in there, when it gets knocked over it shuts itself off so isd very safe same thing with it if it gets to hot. i could not believe the racket last night. my siamese was the worst, he stood up and smacked the door till i went and answered it
very smart hugs to you all

Thanks for sharing the link.
I was wondering if the instructions
would need to be converted to
U.S.A. crochet terms.
I was looking to make something
like these slippers for a
friend that has leukemia.
Do you usually add a non-slip
sole to the bottoms of your
crocheted slippers? I've noticed
that the soles that they sell
to sew on are really expensive.

I've been looking for puff paint to use on the bottoms..I'm going to try the squeeze bottle paint and put dots on the bottoms to see if that helps.. Cos' really slippery on floors!!!!!

Okay, I just tried printing out
the pattern and it is too small
to read! Is there a way to alter
adobe acrobat files?
I tried copying and pasting to
another program and enlarging
the image but it comes out
fuzzy and unreadable.
What am I doing wrong?

I had the same problem. Not sure how to fix it. Maybe someone else would come on here and help us out.

When I go to print something a little screen comes up for the printer. On there it has page scaling if I click on fit to printer margins it enlarges the page.
If you check under the picture of the pattern they have Check here for crochet stitch instructions they're american..

When I use the adobe acrobat there is a little box at the top where you can enlarge the print of a pattern. I always make sure it is set on 100% because a lot of times it is a lot smaller. Sometimes it will go back to its original setting but I keep resetting it and it eventually works.

Thanks for your help. I did get it to print on the whole page instead of in the middle of the page. But I will have to retype when I get around to making them. The print is still kind of small. But I can read it.
Thanks again!
