Hat for Hubby(Edited with pics of Son's hat)I just finished making a hat for my wonderful Hubby...yes...I made him model it. Isn't he adorable? Anyway...it is the free pattern from Crochet Garden with a slight variation. Hope you all like it. 
I wanted to add pics of the matching hat I made for DS. It is a bit tight...but after frogging once...he can live with it. So ...here they are.

Nice job on the hat Melanie! Looks like hubby is already to go hunting now, especially with his beard. Hunting time is the only time my hubby grows a full beard, any other time it's just a little chin beard, goatee I guess you'd call it.

Actually...Hubby has that beard all year round. We wish he had time for hunting, but....not at this time. But...he might get put to work chopping wood this fall for families in our church! I am so used to him having a beard or goatee...if he would ever shave it off...I don't know what I would think. Last time he did that was 5+ years ago and I thought he looked like a little kid!

Nice hat :smile: My hubby doesn't have a beard anywhere near that full he can't for work.But he does have a bit of hair & he occasionally shaves it off & my dd & I both beg him to grow it back :lol:

I like the hat it turned out very nicely. And as for your
DH, he looks good in that color, and he is cute too!
I don't think mine has ever tried growing a beard. He says
it would be patchy on one side!
Now you can go tell him we all love his beard and that he
makes a great model!

Oh, and another thing, the fall foliage is beautiful! Makes
me think of camping. Big fire, smores, with a hat and
jacket on.

Great hat! My husband always has
a beard, too. I told him he could
never shave it off. If he did he would
look younger than me, and that just
isn't gonna happen!
