My name is Barbara, I live in Valdosta, Ga. That's about as far south in Ga as you can go and still be in Ga. I am married, have 3 sons, ages 39, 37 and 20. The 2 older ones are married and one lives in Savannah - he is married, has 2 children, ages 11 and 6. My 11 year old granddaughter is with me right now, spending about 10 days, we have been having a ball, but she wears me out. She has really expressed an interest in learning crochet and is learning quickly.

My second son is married, lives in Athens, Ga. He has 2 daughters, ages 4 and 3.

Third son is still at home, going to college and working part time at Wild Adventures, a local amusement park.

So, I have been raising kids for almost 40 years. I'm retired, so in my spare time, I crochet and do a few other crafts. I have fibromyalgia and chronic fatigue so some days I don't do much of anything.

Looking forward to getting to know some of you; hopefully there are some other folks from south Ga here, too.
