Hello! This is Teri in western Wash. and I just joined. Libi told me about this board. I was searching online for info on another crochet group, found her blog, and after hearing about this group, decided to join here instead. Looks like a great site and I only hope I have the time to devote to it that it deserves and still be able to crochet, LOL, (I also must work full-time to pay the bills, and there is nothing going on in the office this week!) I have been an addicted crocheter for over 28 years, since I was a newlywed. I am actually both a threadie (#10 and #20 only) and a yarnie (mainly soft, smooth worsted weight). Items I love to make include ghans, table runners, doilies, scarves, dishcloths, Barbie clothes and Christmas ornaments. My personal site has a few pics of some items I have made and I need to add a lot more! Am presently working on what was originally going to be a long dresserscarf but will likely be a not-as-long runner for my "great room" table, consisting of 5" six-pointed pineapple star motifs in light green #10 Opera thread, exact size TBD! I just FINALLY became a homeowner in June so have enjoyed making items for my home. We have 13 (!) furry kids, 4 large doggies and 9 guinea pigs, and belong to a small non-denominational church where I am the webmaster and rotate on the music team. Look forward to getting to know other online crocheters!! Teri

Thanks for the welcomes! Lisa - Thanks for visiting my site! Jodi - It is not snowing today yet, just rain so far, but it snowed enough on Christmas Day to keep me inside rather than drive to the Christmas dinner at hubby's workplace, dang it. Thankfully, we are not in an area that could flood; we are uphill and not near any rivers. I feel so badly for all the people in our state whose homes flooded a few weeks ago! Teri
