Interest in CrochetA coworker told me yesterday she wants me to teach her how to crochet. Of course, I talk about crochet and the Mania to her and I guess it has rubbed off! I brought in the witch tamking made me for Halloween and she oohed over that! Well, I don't blame her, I did too! Now I am going to take some Christmassy stuff that Lisa made for the Christmas in July swap for me to show off. The door hanger will be great for our office! So, I have to figure out what to start her with. Her Dh is on a hockey team and she is always talking about freezing in the stands. Something quick for her to learn on- ideas?

How about a shawl to wrap around herself at the games. There are some pretty easy ones out there.

Scarfs are about the easiest, but kind of boring. How about a lap afghan.

I have to agree. A scarf is about the easiest thing to make. She could even make the kind with pockets to put her hands in. For that matter, make it wider and it's a wrap. Easy.

A take on the shawl; how about a ruana? It is classy, she can use for more than the game; or simply look elegant/good while sitting in the stands watching her man!
