Jiffy Knit BabyghanChild's Knitted Blanket Pattern from Lion Brand
I finally finished this blanket early this week. It uses 7 skeins & knitted afghans take FOREVER to finish. I really like this pattern worked up though. It makes a really soft & thick blanket. |

Very nice! And even from the pic it looks soft!
That knitting- I just can't get the hang of it. But there are some incredible things to make by knitting. Slow work maybe but your result is worth it. |

Yes TX CrochetLover, I find knitting slower then crocheting.. But there is somethings that I find just look better knitted.. |

Thank you for the comments. Crochet is my first love, but like Miss Kitty, some items I just prefer knitted over crochet.
It took me 3 tries to learn knitting. I had been trying to learn the English Method. It just DID NOT work. I stumbled on the Continental Method, and it was light a light bulb. Continental is so much like crochet. I was off and running. Once you learn knit & purl - the sky is the limit on what you can knit. My next big hurdle with knitting is lace. . . It's pretty intimidating, but there are some gorgeous shawls out there that I've got to try. |
