Kathy is in the Hospital - She's back Home AgainKathy's husband just called me and told me that she was taken via ambulance to the hospital last night. She and I had talked on the phone before that and she was telling me that her blood pressure was giving her problems.
They are running lots of tests and maybe they can get to root of the trouble.
   These 2 Eggs have been found, and counted
I've asked him to keep me informed since he'll be back and forth at the hospital and it'll be hard for me to catch him at home.
Let's keep her in our thoughts that they can get her up and running again!

Oh Gosh...Please keep us updated! I hope she is doing alright and they figure out what is going on. I'm so sad to hear of this news. I will be praying for her for sure!!!!!

Hey there my Mania family, I am here and still Kicken.
I tell you what, I have never felt so bad in all of my life as I have this
past few weeks. When my heart went haywire the other night (morning),
that just simply freaked me out!
I just know it all has to be related to that tick bite I got back in april, and I finally found a doctor that halfway beleives the same and was willing to
start me on treatment for early stages of Lyme disease.
He started me on the antibiotic, Doxycycline.
I took the first dose of 200mg day before yesterday and
the two a day (100mg each) yesterday, and I am feeling some better.
Yesterday I was at that stage where you ask yourself, am I feeling better,
or am I just imagining this. My heart is beating back to a normal feeling
and my BP is pretty much back to more of what's normal for me.....
130's over 80's and NO BP MEDS in two days.

They found that I do have a Mild Hypothyroid and I am hoping that will
go back to normal now after this antibiotic.
I just pray that we got the antibiotics in time to conquer this, it has been
right at 3 months from the bite. The doctor gave me 20 days of this antibiotic and so far, I am feeling a difference (for the better).
I have never been sick a day in my life with anything bad. True I have let myself go in the past two years, but I have never had heart or BP probs, til after this bite.
I have lost 30 pounds now and am still workin it! 
All of the test that they did showed all normal range except the magnesium was down and my sugar was just a tad high 
With losing weight and getting more fit, I think that will all go away
and I should be as healthy as I was before my weight gain.
Does anyone know much about Mild Hypothyroid and could that happen when you have a bacteria or virus running loose in your system? Maybe
it's just because of that and will straighten back out after I take all of the antibiotic.

you are making me feel so much better, like a good medicine 
I had gotten so afraid with how I was feeling and was just beside myself trying to get these stupid doctors to listen to me on the tick bite.
It just makes sense...well one day, then tick bite, then all heck began to brake loose, and not getting any better.......................
It's got to be from that tick bite, it just makes common sense to me
that that is what it was to cause this.
I have to run for now and get this old computer turned back off, it is having an over heating prob and I can't keep it on very long at a time
now til I can afford to get new fans put in it.
I love and miss all of you and thank you so much for your prayers and for your listening ears when I was freaking out the other day (thank you Jodi, I know I was a frightened mess that night). I am keeping you and the family in my prayers hun....all God's Blessings for your brother right now

Wow Kathy! I'm glad to hear things are starting to get better. I go on vacation with spotty internet . . . and come home and read this.

I know a lot about low thyroid. Especially since I had most of mine removed in '92 lol
I am not sure how Lyme would affect your level. I would wait until you recover then have it retested. It could have been part of it.
But I would not just let it slide once you start feeling better. Low, even a little low can cause some serious problems. Check it to make sure.
