lighted crochet hooksJust wondering if anyone had used these, and what you thought of them, I have been thinking about buying a couple.

I have heard of them, but not bought any yet. I haven't seen them in the stores here locally either. I'd like to hear how they work though.

I got one from my wonderful swap partner and it's really cool. It takes 3 watch batteries that come with it and the light is quite bright. I have to be honest though and say that the light can get a bit annoying when you're looking at it all the time. BUT, it's great for working with dark dark colors, like black, that are hard to see the stitches in!

I saw them at a couple of Micheal's Do you have them in your area?

I think they would be great when using darker colors .. I hadn't thought about thAt until you mentioned it!

Yes, we do have a Michaels here. I'll have to look closer next time I'm in there. I am curious to see what they look like.

I've got a couple of them, but I don't use them that often. I'm not crazy about the plastic though (it squeaks - as I tend to crochet tight).
On the plus side, the are very similar to the Clover Soft Touch hooks in shape, and I use these all the time.

I've got a couple and I use them when I don't have quite enough direct light for dark yarns.
Lisa, you should have two of those lighted hooks, I do believe I gave you one for your birthday!!

I bought a couple of lighted crochet hooks .. They work pretty well when you have dark colors.. or your lighting isn't very good.
