Make you own hooks?Has anyone ever thought of making their own wooden hooks? I haven't but ran into these links. What do you think???

I believe it would take a lot of patience to get the sizing right. But it would be fun to try doing it!

I'll post a picture of the ones I made tomorrow.. Just have to sand the needles and hooks. But haven't gotten around to doing it..

thats so awesome, hubby made some but didn;t work right cause he made the end to short so i gave up although got tons of wood ready to make some wish i knew jimbos secret lol

Here is a pic of the needles and hooks.. Just need to be sanded nice and smooth..

Ahhhhh, he did a great job on those.
I bet he could make them and you could sell those on Etsy
or Ebay.

I don't know when I'll have time to do them!!
Somebody that was here has one..
I finished the DPN's cos' I didn't have 10 1/2 DPN for something so I made my own..

Not my Hubbie.. He doesn't have the patience for sanding. The furniture in the house that he made is sanded by me.. The 2 shelves that I didn't sand, the dust cloth snags when you try to dust it...

Just like a guy! LOL! That's funny, cause on all the home improvement jobs we have done, I am the measuring person, the sander, prep person, painter, caulker. All those jobs that take attention to detail. DH just cuts things with the saw! Hmm, maybe I should delegate and I do the cutting. Heck it's power tools, I can run those! hee hee hee!

Yea, Hubbie says "Ill go and cut this piece be right back". then he gone for 1/2 hour..Like did you get lost?? Couldn't find your way to the garage?? My come back is " You should have taken a left in Albuquerque.."
