Mile-A-Minute AfghanHere is a MAM I made for one of the members of my church. She had a box of yarn sitting up in her attic for years, and when she found it she asked if I would make her a blanket. Of course I said yes.  I gave her the blanket tonight, and she was thrilled with it.
I don't think I'll make another MAM anytime soon (not my thing), but this one was pretty easy and quick to make.

I would have never put those colors together on my own and I'm amazed at how wonderful they all look together!

I had the same reaction when I first saw the yarn.  She said she picked the colors because they reminded her of the home she grew up in. I thought that was sweet.
