Here is a picture of my crew.

Kinda following this pattern.
The guy on the left( blue and red) was with worsted weight yarn and size 4 needle and size 3 for the head.
The other 2 were sport weight yarn and size 4 needle and size 3 for the head..
I'm doing a provisional cast-on and stuffing thur the hat. 2 circular needles. So that I don't have a seam in the back or the bottom of the feet /shoes..

Ahhhh, yours looks sooo different Miss Kitty.
If I were you I would write your pattern up. I bet you could sell this pattern with no problem. I like the different waist and hats, yours are so much cuter than those others.
