I don't think I have the book you do. Or maybe I could help you with it. Sorry! I would think it means decrease in this way at each end of 6 (?-- not sure about that part-each end of 6?) following 4th rows. Maybe decrease at the end of each fourth row, do it 6 times? That sounds right if it is a sleeveline you are decreasing... Don't know if I was any help.

Exactly!! This pattern is just crazy!! After looking at it for literally half an hour or more I came up with the same conclusion Tina did. I hope it's right or it will look funky. It's for the sleeves so I hope it won't make too much of a difference if I'm wrong.
I even looked online for a website/blog/store...whatever...for this woman and can't find one anywhere. Can you believe that in this day and age??? Dangit!!

What book is it in? I would write the editor, or any address I could find in the front of the book, and ask them. It doesn't sound like very good 'editing'....

Cont in sc is continue in single crochet, then dec in this way at end of 6 . I think means 6th row decrease at the begining and end of this row? and then every 4th row after also at begining and end. What was the previous instructions before this line darl? Goodluck
