Mother's Day present done.....Made this shawl for my MIL for Mother's Day-Birthday..Since they are only 6 days apart..

It's the Blessed Mother Prayer Shawl From Annie's Favorite Crochet.
I used Knitpicks Shine Sport in Turquoise.

I've had my eye on Shine Sport since it came out. I'm not overly fond of cotton though, as it really dries out on my hands. Which is a bummer since I live in a HOT climate. I did notice they just came out with a Cotton/Linen blend though that I might have to try.

I little information please........Miss Kitty, I would love a little more information on the book or magazine you got your pattern from. I ABSOLUTELY have to track it down. My mother would love to receive that BEAUTIFUL shawl for her birthday. I have to find the pattern pretty quick since my "filet" skills are a little slow. Thanks for any information you can offer!

Can't wait to see it!!
I ordered 2 colors of RH Luster Sheen yesterday enough for two more shawls..
I like the way it turned out with the Shine Sport. But the RH price is better. Since it took 12 skeins of the Knitpicks Shine.
We shell see........
