Thanks everyone for your kind replies... I am so disheartened. I posted this on another forum and have heard nothing but mean comments and flaming from others. A few people actually got together and created a blog which showcases my sweater and makes fun of me, the sweater and basically says I'm so fat you'd need a crane to pick me up... I really don't know how much I'll be posting for awhile. Just when I think all the people who have hate in their hearts find something else to do things like this happen. I don't know... I am very happy that over here everyone has been nice and tried to get along but at the moment I'm ready to smash my computer in... I don't know how celebrities handle this kind of stuff. Heck, for me it's only on a small scale. I can only imagine what movie stars and such go through. It's like my life is being viewed through a microscope...

The sweater is beyond beautiful! I love the colors! I havent seen the movies, but are those the colors of the sweater in the movies? LOL I have only read the books. If not, then you made great color choices!!

Ignore them. I know it is hard but I have learned at my age (45) that you can't please everyone & some people have class & some don't. The best *revenge* is to hold your head high with pride & happiness & live your life the way you want to & make the things you want to in crochet no matter who likes it or doesn't.

So hold your head up Donna & feel proud. That sweater is a large project...a lot of crocheting... yikes...& you are so fast!!! I don't know how you do it. You finish a project before I get to row 10 :P My tendonitis & CTS would be screaming at me if I crocheted that fast lol

Yes Donna, it is very pretty, and some just do not understand what a
beautiful piece of art truely is, and that there my friend is something you can be proud of.
All that negetive stuff is just to be ignored. You have a fresh start
here now to put it all behind you.

Hi Donnalynn! All I can say is, somebody likes it cause my pattern sales have increased ever since you posted your pics on "that other" forum!! And actually, to be fair, there were a lot of nice comments over there, too. I really think yarnaholic is doing a great job of educating the clueless on good manners and tact. But I sure do notice the "tone" is a little more loving & encouraging here! I haven't seen any negative or hurtful comments here yet. God bless you ALL!
