My BFF RachelMy best friend forever, Rachel is having surgery this morning. (7 central time)
She's having a total hysterectomy.
Last time she was in the hospital having surgery we almost lost her several times. So needless to say I am worried today.
I'd appreciate prayers for her safety during surgery and recovery.

I hope all will go well with the surgery.  I knew someone who had a total hysterectomy before thirty. It was after she had her third child. She is doing fine now. I hope everything goes fine with your friend, too.

My niece is the same way. They can't do something the easy way.. We almost lost her a couple time during a simple surgery..

Just got off the phone with her husband, the surgery went fine and she's resting.
Now if we can just get her healed up.
Last time she'd had a blood clot in her leg and when they went in to take care of it they found out she had a valve prob in her heart so they had to take care of that with open heart surgery and she ended up back three times each time almost dying.
So until she gets home and recovered completely I'll be concerned.

I've been away from the board for a few days so I'm just now reading this. I'm so glad your friend made it through the surgery. I will pray for her healing and no further complications. My dh had a blood clot in his leg a few years ago. It was a very scary thing to go through so I understand your worries.
