i used this for the buttons.

the first URL would be something like http://crochetmania.myfastforum.org

then the second URL is where you have your button stored (mine is Photobucket).

Then the "This is My Button" I always put the name of the place "Crochet Mania"

to get it on your blog you go to your blog then click on layout. there should be a spot (on the right or left side) that says "Add Page Element". click on that and then go to the one that says "HTML/JavaScript
Add third-party functionality or other code to your blog" and click "Add to Blog" that is where you put the code for the button.
