My Dad....I wanted to let you all know that Dad passed away this morning. He was at home with family. It's been a long road and now he's out of pain and resting better.
It's been a very long day. We are having the service next week and maybe Mom and my sister can get some good sleep. They, along with my son, have been doing most of the care giving the past couple of weeks. I've had some outside obligations to take care of and couldn't be there as often recently. I did spend a lot of time with him while he was able to converse, eat and complain about things. I'm going to miss him so much.
I'll be around off and on for a while, until we get through this.

Thank you Everyone.
It's been a long week. Tomorrow is Dad's service and we have family coming to town. It's going to be a very long day for all of us.
One of my closest friends is driving to town tonight and we're going to do breakfast in the morning. I can't wait to see her.
