Mystic LightHere's my latest Lace KAL FO . . .
I used Lorna's Lace Shepard Sock in "Purple Club". This took about 3-1/2 skeins. US8 I just love this pattern. I think I'm going to make another one in a solid color. |

Thank you all for the lovely compliments. I'm pretty proud of this one. It turned out 100 times better than I thought it would. I was totally undecided as to what yarn to use right up to the last day. I'm pretty happy with the yarn I chose.
I didn't start the Spring Shawl either . . . I just wasn't my kind of shawl I guess. I'm gearing up for the Goddess Knit Anniversary Mystery KAL (it's a pi-shape shawl-lace weight) that starts next month. |

I'm still debating on that one. I love Anna's patterns, and if it were free there'd be no doubt I'd be signing up for it. I just need to decide IF I want to pay for this one or not. With the Goddess Knits KAL starting around the same time, I don't know if I've got enough time to keep up with both (and if I don't keep up . . . I have issues with actually finishing them, i.e., SotS that still isn't finished). Considering how much I love her patterns, I'll probably break down & sign up for it. I just need to waffle a little bit more

Not like I don't have enough to do....
I frogged the Jean Shawl that I was working on and started again with some "Scary" Laceweight yarn. So far so good.. |

Well, I caved faster than I thought I would. I'm all signed up and ready to go. I'm going to use either Sea Silk in "Blackberry" or the Gloss Sock Yarn I got from KnitPicks in "Cosmos" (it's purple). I haven't quite decided which one yet. I can't wait to see pics of your new WIP shawl. |
