Need some strength

Hi Everyone,

I need some strength sent this way to help me make it through another week at work. I come home at night and cry and cry. I'm so upset. I LOVE LOVE LOVE what I do so much and know that I still need training to go anywhere else to do what I do. So I have to stick it out. But they keep telling me that they will give me more hours but they only have 23 hrs on the schedule. I feel like I'm being taken advantage of and it's very frustrating. I try so hard and I want to make money so I don't have to suffer at home.

I know I have to stick it out til I'm fully trained and can go elsewhere, but I'm broke!!!! I just need some strength.

Hang in there. Sometimes, the work is awful, sometimes, the situation is awful. Sometimes the whole deal is awful. But it is an income. When me and the kids were on food stamps when I filed for divorce, and my house payment was behind, the first job I was offered I took. I hated that job. But it put food on the table for the kids, and kept us in the house. Even if it is only part time, Trish, it is money and experience you need. As hard as it is, look at what you are learning on the job and try to take that into account. If you had to go to school to learn it, it would cost a whole lot more, and might be out of reach. Learn all you can there, "even if you have to eat beans and cornbread "( that's what my aunt always said! LOL!)

I am sorry you are going through this. I have been going through the same exact thing from day one, at my job. I finally just gave them my resignation letter and now I have to look for a new job... (sigh) So I kind of know what you are going through. (I haven't worked for the past five weeks!!! I am only part time, but still... ) I hope things will get better for you.
