No-button Ruffled Towel Topper..

Found the towels at HEB (grocery store).
Going to add them to Christmas presents.. I'll show the thing together as soon as DH get done with his part..( Joint effort here)

How do you get your hook thru the cloth just poke some holes with something?

First I sew over the end that I cut, then put a large sewing needle though or a thread hook, then the hook that I'm using..
That part takes the longest...

I love making these. I made several last year for gifts.

I used to poke the hook through the towel, but that caused major damage to me fingers.

I "cheated" last year. I made an embroidery chain and hooked through the loops. I worked a lot better that way. You just have to make sure your embroidery chain isn't too tight.
