Nylon Scrubbies?Okay..for those of you who make nylon scrubbies...what do you use? I know it is nylon, , but where can I find the stuff to make these. I really want to make some. Any help is appreciated.

I've attempted to make them. The netting is too rough on my hands.
I bought it at a fabric store. I know Walmart has it.
Hope this helps you.

I've bought some at Wal-Mart and I've seen some at Hobby Lobby. I'm not sure what size you need though. The bought mine to make the dog leash pattern over at Crochet Me. This is the size I bought. Not sure if that is too big for a scrubbie but maybe you can look around the JoAnn site to see if they have other sizes.
Ok...I have to get going but I did a little bit of research. This pattern calls for Needloft 100% Nylon Plastic Canvas Yarn. I did a google search and found some here. I can't tell but it looks different than what I bought...softer somehow. HTH

I used to struggle making my own....the netting IS hard on your hands. But when I realized I could get a package of 6 of them at the dollar store, I went back to making my dishcloths - which is one thing I don't think my family would ever let me replace! My kids and hubby all say the crochet dishcloths are way better than any you could buy.

I have used netting too. I may try plastic canvas yarn next time.

Hi: I use the ones that come 6 in a package as well for $1.00 at Dollar General.
I love these and I make them from a pattern from Marlos corner..
I've got a batch all done over a dozen of them in all sorts of colors..
Now my sister and niece want some... So valentines is around the corner and I will give them some as gifts..
When i take a photo this week I will post to show and tell...

I've started to buy mine from another crochet gal here locally.
She makes hundreds of them and sells them at bazaars.
I just buy a dozen or so at a time and add the cotton to them.

Hobby Lobby here carries the Omega nylon thread,
a size 2 thread and a size 18 if you want to crochet them!
