It's Wednesday!! Is everybody busy??

is getting closer!!!

Me:

I started to work on a Sweater it's called Wicked Sweater it's a top down sweater. I was all the way down to take the stitches off and put on a stitch holder for the sleeves when I noticed that I was increasing at the center back about 10 rows down. Well I frogged down and replaced my markers.
Found out Monday that I didn't get the markers (4) in the right place. So I got mad and frogged the whole thing.......Here's what I have now.

I had some Simply Soft- Iris in my stash. The picture doesn't show the pretty dark purple it really is. Going to make it long sleeve.
After TX said she was doing a sweater, well----

Miss Kitty, I'm glad you're making progress on the sweater. I chuckled at all the frogging, as I do that so much.

I made a bit of progress on one of the lap blankets, yes, really.

The pot holder for Anoramaxsis is still drying on the rack, and I'm fiddling around with another one.

Meanwhile, I've made lots of soap, and watched a few hummingbirds.

Sorry you had to go frogging Miss Kitty, I always hate that, epecially if I have done a lot on the piece.

Right now I am between projects. I am waiting on some cotton yarns to arrive...one of the colors in the order I need to finish Tina's potholder in our swap.

I want to start on a couple of scarves and maybe a blankie. I found a really pretty yet simple blankie pattern and want to try it.
Today I guess I will just be working on my room to get it finished. It's nothing like having to go digging through stuff to find what you need for
just a simple project

Sadly..the blanket I posted about a couple of weeks ago...still isn't finished. I only have 2 weeks till the due date. Yikes..I need to get moving and get it done because I have some hats that I want to make for the baby too.

Oh Melanie, sorry to hear you are not dong so well on the blanket. But I am so excited to hear the baby is almost here! I can't wait to see pictures!!!

MY sweater just took a screeching stop. I was starting the collar last night and found my count was off on thepattern stitches. I went back and counted , checked to make sure I had the correct pattern(p2,k2). I did, but at the end of the row, I had one stitch left over and the pattern says I should have 3. By that time it was after midnight and my eyes were falling out of my head. So, I need to look on Ravelry for some help. I posted last night over there before I went to bed, but haven't had a response yet. I don't have the experience to fiddle with it and I sure don't want to mess it up at this stage. I tried it on last night, the sleeves look Great! It fits really well and it will be nice once I figure the collar out. But it will not be done in time for me to wear this weekend.
So, I think I will not fret. I'll just start another helmet liner and take that to work on. Oh maybe a wash cloth. Heck I am still asleep, I don't know!

I'm back on on track. I'm a little more then half way to the sleeves. Again....

Well I did a couple of rows on it last night....Hubby is sick and on antibiotics..I have a cold and our oldest had a fever...so it slowed my progress down big time...

I just frogged my sweater AGAIN!!!!!!!In the same spot I increased were I wasn't suppose too!!!!

I have your bed doll ready to mail (sorry it has taken me so long!!). I had to get one of those stiff mailers, and it takes me three trips to the store before I can actually remember to get something.

(Even if I put it on a list, sometimes..) Sigh. I will try to get it out to you asap...

Oh, I am not working on much. I'm supposed to be crocheting Barbie doll furniture for my friends little girl. I actually did work on that a little yesterday. That's about all I have done. After I finish that I have to crochet a sleeping bag and tent for her son.

Oh miss Kitty...so sorry about having to frog the sweater again. but maybe tina is right...it is named the Wicked sweater. :) As for us...Titus seems to be over his fever and Elijah has a runny nose. As long as a runny nose is all he gets...that is fine with me. I still don't feel all that great but at least hubby does. He is still coughing a LOT but he is starting to feel better. We have about a week and a half before this baby comes....sure hope it's gone by then.

Miss Kitty, I hate to see that you had to frog again. That is always a pain
when you have to start over. I think they are right about the name of the sweater, that could be why it's named 'Wicked'

Ladies you are so special.Went to the doctor today. Had to stay for hours. My throat was so red he thought I might have strep throat to boot. Anyway I had all these tests. It is not n1h1 and it is not swine. Regular flu. No bacterial stuff.Sick as a dog. Have been all week. Called my job to give an update....this young woman who does scheduling is such a nasty young woman. says it will be unexcused and you will be written up. can you imagine for having the flu. thanks for listening.

Since you went to the doctors, could they write you a note for work? Would that help at all? I hope you feel better soon. Sometimes these viruses can wipe a person out for a while.

I am so glad to hear that it's not that bad flu, altough the plain old flu can really make you feel so rotten. I hate the part where everything you eat taste the same. I always look at this way...as soon as something taste right again, then I know I have kicked it

OH Maxine, that is horrible for them to say that. Like Tina says, get a doctor note. Would she rather you came in and coughed all over her and made her and others sick too? What is wrong with people?

I agree, call your doctor and get a note. I have actually had my doctor fax it over to the employer,
that way they get it now, before you go back to work.
Have your doctor write in there when he says you can go back to work.
Your work place will have to honor that by law and company policy.

Thanks for all the well wishes. The children seem to be doing okay at this time. Hubby is finally sleeping better at night. I still don't feel the greatest, but at least everyone is improving. Tomorrow is the one week mark. I also wanted to let you all know to keep checking on my blog next week. Our computer went down...we are pretty sure it's the motherboard and it is going to be $300 to get a new one. So...who knows how long it will take to get that fixed.I do have a very old laptop I am using now, but I can't even post pictures. So when it's time for the baby I will post on my blog and facebook and that is it...it takes WAY too long to do stuff on this computer. Anyway...I need to get going. At least I get to go to a friend's home tonight for fresh homemade donuts and fresh cider!
