preemie cocoon for NaomiOne of my friends has a new granddaughter....Naomi... She is a preemie and now is 2 1/2 lbs ...so tiny !!! I had to put down the blanket I was making for her............way too BIG !!! I found this preemie cocoon ..the photo just doesnt show how tiny !!!! I used Bernat softee, and it is so soft,pale and has a sheen to it .I have never made preemie things, and now hopefully will add to my donation pile some preemie hats !!!! Oh that is so sweet! Two and a half pounds, I just can't imagine a baby that small. God bless the baby, she will catch up later weight wise. My oldest son was just shy of 5 pounds, he was early, but he is nearly six feet tall now! |

Keeping Naomi in my prayers
My oldest was a preemie too. He was 6 weeks early. Weighed 5 pounds 4 1/2oz. They said he was a pound bigger than most at 6 weeks early. He grew into a 6 foot 4 inch young man. Took after his GreatGrandaddy (my Grandaddy) on my Mom's side. They catch up faster than you can imagine
